Essential Oils

Amryis Oil: Known as “west indian sandalwood”, Amyris' woody, balsamic aroma is relaxing and calming to the nerves. Its cooling action also helps to relieve frustration and sexual tension as well as general stress and irritability. The scent is both uplifting and soothing with a strong anti-inflammatory action. This oil both slows the aging process and regenerates the skin, making it an excellent choice for facial care blends.

Cajeput Oil: Cajeput oil is steam-distilled from the leaves, twigs and bark of an evergreen tropical tree native to Australia and Indonesia. The tree is closely related to Tea Tree and Eucalyptus, and shares similar antibacterial properties. Cajeput oil is an excellent oil to use as a warming muscle rub to ease stiffness and rheumatic aches.

Carrot seed Oil: Carrot Oil is a golden colored extract from carrots with extraordinary skin protection and conditioning benefits derived from the high quantities of carotenoids (anti-oxidants) that it contains. Carotenoids have been shown to protect against the effects of UV rays. The oil has a dry-woody, somewhat root-like, earthy odor. It is useful for the treatment of dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, wrinkles, and aids dry skin and revitalizes at the cellular level. It also helps circulation and aids muscular tension.

Lavender: Lavender herb and the essential oil has been used throughout history for numerous applications, medicinally and spiritually. Lavender is antibacterial, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, it is good for the mind, body & soul, and helps support a calm composure and reduces irritability, apprehension, stress, nervous tension, insomnia, nightmares, and is generally balancing to the psyche as well as the body. Lemongrass essential oil is also great for soothing sore and painful muscles and can be added to an aromatic bath for intensive healing benefits. Widely used in southeast asia as a traditional healing and beauty herb, the aroma is calming to the nerves, uplifting and energizing.

Lime: The astringent action of lime essential oil helps to increase and improve the tone of the skin and helps to detoxify and clear the skin. The fresh and sweet scent of lime oil makes it a popular choice in aromatherapy. It promotes a cheerful mood and refreshes the mind.

Sweet Orange: The essential oil has a sweet, warm and uplifting aroma that can create a feeling of happiness and relaxation. It is antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and great for dry and mature skin. The oil also assists the lymphatic system, helping to detoxify congested skin as well as acne and is soothing for dry irritated skin.

Peppermint/Spearmint: The mint family has many uses medicinally, therapeutically and in aromatherapy.
